Raku looks like it is getting close to reopening at 7240 Woodmont Avenue at Bethesda Row. The sushi restaurant has been closed for several months for major renovations. You can see that the interior - and the seating, in particular - have gotten a major upgrade. The restaurant is scheduled to reopen before the end of the summer.
Until Raku returns, their Rakugaki location at 10223 Old Georgetown Road at the Wildwood Shopping Center is open for business. There are also Raku locations at Cathedral Commons and Dupont Circle in Washington, D.C.
