Sense of Thai is the latest dining addition to the new Westbard Square development in Bethesda. The southern Thailand restaurant will open in spring 2025, according to the Pattana Restaurant Group that owns the local chain. Stylized as 5ense of Thai, the number represents the five senses that will be "elevated" by the restaurant's cuisine, their marketing materials promise. Specialty dishes include Chumphon Pad Thai, Crispy Whole Fish, Seafood Volcano, and Chili Soft-Shell Crab. Sense of Thai will be located on the ground floor of the Giant building at 5400 Westbard Avenue, next to District DabbleLab.

I hope this place is decent. I haven't found anyplace near here that comes within a country mile of the dear, departed Bangkok Garden.
Why does that genre` of food establishments always have the weirdest or over the top clever names? #ThaiBow #ThaiTanic etc, etc
That place always gave me the s*it's after I ate their Pad Thai.
