BIKE TO WORK FRIDAY AND MAKE A PIT STOP AT BETHESDA ROW

This Friday, May 18, is Bike to Work Day 2012!  A chance to improve the environment and your health, you can register online.

Bethesda Transportation Solutions is not only promoting BTWD - and bike commuting in general - but they're also organizing a Pit Stop at Bethesda Row Friday morning.

Stop by the Pit Stop at the corner of Bethesda and Woodmont Avenues between 6:30 and 8:30 AM Friday, where you'll find food, games, and prizes.

And you can learn more about bicycle commuting.  If you are one of the first 11,000 to register for BTWD, they'll also have a T-shirt waiting for you.

You may even be able to hook up with a bike convoy going your way.

But you can also stop by just to learn more about being a Bethesda bike commuter, even if you aren't riding a bike Friday.

Lots of Bethesda sponsors have chipped in to make the Pit Stop possible, including Whole Foods on River Road, Unity Woods Yoga, The Greater BCC Chamber of Commerce, Bethesda Bagels, Equinox, Bethesda Green, Spring Mill Bread, Honest Tea, Hard Times Cafe, Lilit Cafe, Naked Pizza and the YMCA.

Make plans to make a pit stop at Bethesda Row Friday!
