Watch the first episode of Christmas Countdown on the Robert Dyer Channel!
This daily program will count down the days until Christmas. God willing, it will run through the 12 Days of Christmas on January 6, 2013.
After finding the TV grid mostly devoid of Christmas programming, save for ABC Family, and the occasional primetime special, I decided it was time to take action. When one classic movie channel is showing Hang 'Em High (although Clint Eastwood is a favorite of mine), and the other is screening The Walking Dead during the holidays, something has to be done. There are a few dozen classic Christmas movies, guys. Play them!
If you're a Grinch, you should be delighted at the state of things. But if you're searching for Christmas programming, pour a glass of Egg Nog, and enjoy the Christmas Countdown.
