The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for the area around Bethesda between 6:00 PM tonight and 2:00 PM Sunday.
Winds will be in the 30-40 MPH range, with gusts of up to 60 MPH. This level of high wind, and the 20-hour period it will buffet the area, will create a high probability of falling trees and limbs, and power outages.
Now would be a good time to secure or retrieve objects in your yard or on your balcony that could blow away. Bring pets indoors, and fully charge your cell phone before 6:00.
