City Sports has officially closed at Bethesda Row. The sporting goods chain filed for bankruptcy, and its stores here and at Pike & Rose were casualties of the company's collapse. Both had sizable spaces at their respective Federal Realty developments, so it will be interesting to see what type of tenant replaces them.

This business was destined to fail from the start. Their lack of cute workout clothes drove me to Lucy and Lulu's every time.
