More closures at Cabin John Mall
Momo Taro Sushi Express has closed at Cabin John Mall. Fashion Flair Cleaners will be next, when it closes its doors at the end of this month.

Which places closed previously? I can find only one other article in the entire archives about this blog that pertains to Cabin John Mall - Monday, January 23, 2017 "China Gourmet Bistro to reopen Tuesday at Cabin John Mall".
There has been a lot of turn over at this mall. For one, BGR closed down. But another burger place might replace it. And what about the Chinese restaurant, Jade something? Is that still there? It might have also been replaced by another Chinese restaurant.
"I love the sour grapes about my scoop on these two closures. The article is about new closures, not old news about future tenants."
Given that you never reported on the future tenants, at the time they were announced (only your competition did) is it actually "old news"?
And to what previously closed stores does the headline "More closures" refer? As 7:07 AM (December 21) notes, the only other article abut Cabin John Mall you have ever published is "China Gourmet Bistro to reopen Tuesday at Cabin John Mall", from January 2017.
Finally, how did you learn of the two current closures? Was Momo Taro Sushi Express closed for some time after which you happened to see the closure notice on the door? And did you learn of the upcoming closure of Fashion Flair Cleaners, from a representative of the business? From a representative of the mall management? Or just from a paper notice on the door?
A good journalist would always mention these things.
Robert. Read your comment. Now go ahead, reread it. You’re talking about a sushi restaurant and cleaner that most people don’t know exists. Don’t call this a scoop. You look so foolish. A high school newspaper club writer wouldn’t call this news, let alone a scoop. Seriously, I’m trying to help you here.

@ 5:17 AM - China Billows closed in 2012. China Jade Bistro closed in about 2014. Replaced by China Gourmet Bistro which appears to still be open.
