The Harris Teeter grocery store at 4805 Battery Lane in downtown Bethesda will close one hour earlier this Thursday night, May 15, 2025. A "specialized floor service" will be performed "to provide you a clean shopping environment!!" As a result, the store will close at 10:00 PM Thursday, so the work can be completed by the time it reopens at 6:00 AM on Friday.

At 8:30 pm everything that wasn't nailed down was removed for major floor cleaning.
