And elected officials and Olive Chief say nothing. County prosecutor lets any criminals off with a wrist slap. Next thing you know, we'll have broad daylight muggings in Potomac Village.
A dispute over how quickly the rum buns from neighboring O-Donnell's go stale once removed from the holding cabinet?
I wonder what kind of people are at a UFC viewing event at a bar in the suburbs at 2:00am?
Sales of those adjacent newly built seven-figure townhouses and condos should really heat up now! Quartz countertops with a little late night gun fire is an appealing mix.
This is sad news. Unfortunately the current tolerance for smaller crimes has inevitably led to more violence as we see across BCC/Potomac. The supporters of McCarthy, Elrich and the Council will be here to make excuses that this is an aberration and don't believe your lying eyes.
Sounds kinda ripe theme like a baited patch for violence.
Tolerance? Tell us, how the hell do you predict then prevent anyone who has in their possession a gun, from committing a violent act? That gun may have been left in their car and grabbed when the outdoor situation went beyond his point of no return. Try using what little grey matter you have judiciously, for once.
Who cares
They rely on fear and uncertainty so they can raise our taxes next year.
He believes in educating criminals and victims alike. I'm not sure if they earn CEUs.
@11:55 Let's see if we can walk you through some common sense basics. Non-prosecution of smaller crimes gives criminals/illegals a certain comfort to commit and re-commit crimes which surprise, leads to more crime. We have no idea of what circumstances led to this shooting, however crime can be tracked through trends so in the past several years there have been crimes that rare if ever happened in this area like the rape at the Bethesda library plus 2 other sexual assaults within the last 6 months or so. Making excuses for why this incident could isolated, which it could be when the facts come out, ignores the larger picture of trackable crime trends which are available on an MC incident map.
The truly sad part is that people making excuses are the same people who blindly vote for the politicians that have enabled the current trend in crime. Ask residents of some of the worst neighborhoods in SE DC how Trump has allowed them to walk their streets at night because those streets are safer than DTSS which is where we in BCC and now Potomac are definitely headed.
Ironically, Quincy was a show about forensic pathology and autopsies.
@4:39 anyone with any firsthand knowledge of DC knows that trump has done literally nothing to diminish crime. The National Guard stands around in metro stations staring at the floor. They are not legally allowed to enforce laws, per the Posse Comititus Act and the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution.
Wait, by BCC, do you mean Bethesda Chevy Chase? Do you really think it’s dangerous there? If so then you wouldn't last 30 seconds in an actually dangerous area.
8:54 is clueless as usual. Ask the residents off Minnesota Ave SE about walking the streets at night and it's 180 degrees different. Tell us you couldn't care less about the poorest section of DC without telling us you couldn't care less about the poorest section of DC. Pretty easy to stand with the liberals in Georgetown when the gunfire was on the other side of the city. Pathetic
@5:08 don’t let me stop you from making up things to be afraid of <3
Look at 3:01 who has to lie about the easiest things to fact check. What a child.
@5:56 if you want to live your life in fear of the boogeymen you’ve hallucinated then that’s on you.
@12:34 Unfortunately for you, we live in the real world, where you haven't spent a lot of time in. I guess that making up lies is so easy that you can no longer tell the difference.
@4:14 it’s always so funny seeing a conservative approach self-awareness but stop just before reaching it.
