Cafe X-press in Bethesda temporarily closed "due to illness"


Cafe X-press
at 8000 Norfolk Avenue in downtown Bethesda will be closed for the rest of the week "due to illness," a sign posted in the window says. "We apologize for the inconvenience and truly appreciate your understanding and support," the sign goes on to say. "We look forward to serving you again soon!"

Cafe X-Press adds outdoor seating

Cafe X-Press at 8000 Norfolk Avenue in Bethesda has added outdoor seating. Socially-distanced tables have been placed on the sidewalk, where the cafe is fortunate to have a corner location.

New LED lights brighten corner in Bethesda

The new LED lights installed at the building housing Cafe X-press have brightened up the corner at Del Ray and Norfolk Avenues in the Woodmont Triangle. At a time when the collapse of the nighttime economy has increased the number of lonely, dark streets in downtown Bethesda, pedestrians can appreciate the addition of a more well-lit one.

Cafe X-Press adds bubble tea to menu in Bethesda

Cafe X-Press has added bubble tea to their menu. The popular cafe-deli is located at 8000 Norfolk Avenue in downtown Bethesda. Boba tea is found every other block or so in Rockville these days, but a harder-to-find beverage in Bethesda.
