Bethesda buildings face off in Christmas colors (Photos)

A few days ago, Avocet Tower was blue. Now it's green and red, and its neighbor across Wisconsin Avenue isn't going to be outdone. The Hyatt Regency Bethesda is also bathed in those Christmas colors.

We've looked a few times this year at the Christmas decorations and lights around the Bethesda Row area. Now let's take a look at some of the Woodmont Triangle's festive displays for 2020.

Hyatt Regency Bethesda lights up for Christmas (Photos)

Just in time for Christmas, we find out that the new LED accent lighting on the exterior of the Hyatt Regency Bethesda hotel can be customized. The hotel is now sporting red and green Christmas lights in a candy cane pattern.

It's time to take our annual trip to see the Christmas decorations outside The Palisades luxury apartments on Cordell Avenue in the Woodmont Triangle. New this year are light-up candy canes around the circle out front.

The Christmas lights and animated snowflakes are back on Cordell Avenue, at the Triangle Towers and Palisades apartment buildings. There are even a couple of nutcrackers guarding the doors. We may need them year-round once the Purple Line is built.

HOLIDAY LIGHTS IN VETERANS PARK (PHOTOS)

The holiday lights are up in Veterans Park in downtown Bethesda. Pick up a holiday coffee from Starbucks across the street, and check them out at the corner of Woodmont and Norfolk Avenues in the Woodmont Triangle.
