CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS AROUND DOWNTOWN BETHESDA (PHOTOS )
You could pick up a hot chocolate and stroll around downtown Bethesda in search of these Christmas scenes.
Or... you could have that same hot chocolate at home, and see them on your iPad right here from your sofa or easy chair.

It's sad that the heart of our downtown, the Bethesda Metro Center has no holiday decorations.
I think the Clark Building may have a wreath on it's door. But where are the public holiday displays? There used to be a Christmas tree. There used to be an ice skating rink. I believe I see the area where the rink was, just empty with a patch of grass that no one uses.
I think that went away with the disappearance of the food court. It used to be a nice gathering place outside there, even with live music on Fridays. Sad it's no longer.
