TUTTI FRUITTI/PIKE AND ROSE CONSTRUCTION UPDATE (PHOTOS)

Work is progressing on the pad site area at Pike & Rose, near the corner of Rockville Pike and Old Georgetown Road. The existing retail structure is being renovated, and expanded. This will give the entire Federal Realty property a more consistent and unified appearance, despite the relative age of the older structures.

Tutti Fruitti, Chipotle and
others will be located in
this area on the Pike & Rose
site

New tenant Tutti Fruitti's frozen yogurt shop is being constructed, and the new Bank of America branch is now taking final shape at the site. First move-ins at the PerSei luxury apartments at Pike & Rose are currently scheduled to take place tomorrow.

A new look for the
Pike & Rose branch of
Bank of America

Is the pad building still to be torn down in a future phase? Seems like extensive work for a building they know is going to be demolished.

Well the latest site map shows that corner as retail on 1st floor with office above - so they would likely wait until the office market in MoCo vastly improves!

Robert, how do I get in contact with you. I'm supposed to be moving into the Persei but anything above floor 2 is delayed - no concrete date given.

10:45 Will be glad to take photos on the inside when they invite me in to do so! They had a couple of media photo ops that I was not invited to. Can't imagine why they wouldn't want some free publicity.

What's the deal with the tenants? The site plan says Bank of America, Starbucks, Visionworks, Drycleaning, Chipotle, and Tutti Fruitti? Those pictures of the Tutti Fruitti/Chipotle look like new construction, not renovation...
