PHOTO STUDIO SUNK BY PLUMBING TO REOPEN IN BETHESDA (PHOTOS)

Bethesda photographer Carly Glazier is reopening her studio at 4715 Cordell Avenue, after being forced out of the space by plumbing problems earlier this year. Two plumbing disasters, and the resulting damage, led Glazier to not renew her lease a couple of months ago. With the issues now resolved, Glazier has signed a new lease, and will reopen the studio on September 1.

You may notice there is also a spiffy new sign above the storefront (above photo).

Was her previous lease a sublet?

I wonder what the plumbing issues were. With the big glass windows there wasn't visible damage.

The dumper kept backing up and overflowing.

I walked by there several times a day and hardly anyone was ever there.

Well, is anyone ever in the massage place next door?

Dunno, the massage place is all black curtain covered. The studio is just uncovered glass walls.

"Photo studio" next to a "massage place". Interesting juxtaposition.

Hopefully the BM geyser, er, "plumbing issue" didn't upset the clientele too much.
