I'm afraid Smoothie King's biggest moment in Bethesda history was not beverage-related. Rather, it was the infamous Smoothie King armed robbery, executed with aplomb by the now-legendary Whitman Five gang. As in Walt Whitman High School. Uno's Pizzeria. A Vera Bradley handbag. And an actual getaway car.

so now that you don't have to worry about yoru car getting your car towed while there, you just can't find parking.
That is an awful spot unless you seel donuts.
There is sometimes a metered space or two open in front of Jimmy Johns in the evening or across the street.
There will be hundreds of new garage spaces next year at Lot 31.
Did anyone bother to tell Smoothie King that that building is going to be torn down in about a year or two?
