When MoCo Mall is finally dead, will it be buried at that cemetery in Westbard?

Oh man, that's harsh, @6:01. Timely, but stinging.

This chain was on the skids from the beginning, no great loss.

@6:01 if they start burying overpriced clothing retailers in Westbard, the nimbys may finally get the support of Poppy and her friends in Somerset.

Chill, 2:16. Landmark and Ballston will close first, then it's MoCo Mall's turn. Assuming Lakeforest doesn't beat it to the punch.

Haha...Montgomery Mall isn't closing anytime soon.
Yes, there is shuffling of retailers, but that is natural.

Draiman has had some long term vacancies right on Elm Street. No one is saying Bethesda Row is closing. In fact, Federal Realty has several big vacancies on Bethesda Row.

Malls are unsustainable in their current form. Long-term tenants are a things of the past.
Look for more short-term and pop-up type retailers. Some business plans include combining brick and mortar openings and online presence to get the product out and touchable, before easing out of the location and remaining online.
