Medium Rare, the steak and frites restaurant expanding from D.C. to Bethesda, has some more signage installed. Hours have been stenciled on the door, and some text has been added to the front window. Medium Rare had been anticipated to open last month, but should be opening soon.
For more details on the Bethesda location of Medium Rare, read my exclusive report. Medium Rare is on the Fairmont Avenue side of the 7770 Norfok luxury apartment tower.

Please stop going outside Robert Dyer.
This location wont have their famous brunch??? I am assuming based no Sunday morning hours....
4:56: It will have brunch - Mark Bucher told me they are expecting the brunch in Bethesda to be even more popular than it is in D.C.
@5:43 - Great!
Will they have a kids menu? I see their menu is prix fixe but I doubt my 2-year old will eat $22 worth of steak and fries. The Bethesda area will probably have a higher % of families eating out compared to their other locations.
@8:14 AM - Having one item and no menu is what made this restaurant so popular. I suspect this also makes it very easy for management to effectively run the place. I highly doubt there will be a kids menu.
Community is awful. I hear Medium Rare is good but will never go to either. Why? Because Mark Bucher is an idiot. Don't reveal your politics when you have a business that deals directly with the public. Planned Parenthood supporter. No thanks!
@5:13AM You object to women having available health care? What exactly is your objection to Planned Parenthood? No one ever has a good answer. I'm interested in yours.
Most people have no idea what Planned Parenthood actually does.
In this area, it will bring more people to his venue.
Answer? Easy. Planned Parenthood is the number one provider of abortion in the country. Many are ok with that and many are not and I'm not. It's foolish for a restaurateur to show his cards so to speak. If he hadn't revealed his support of Planned Parenthood, I would have no issue going to Community or Medium Rare because obviously I wouldn't know. But now that I do, I won't go to any of his restaurants. That's all.
