Auto thieves returned to Bethesda in force over the night between Thursday and Friday, December 2 and 3, 2021. They also targeted one of their favorite corridors, Bradley Boulevard. Two of the three cars reported stolen yesterday were taken from residences there. The three vehicles were reported stolen from homes in the 6100 block of Bradley Boulevard, the 8500 block of Pelham Road, and the 10000 block of Mayfield Drive.

Thieves are also selecting their targets using Apple AirTags and later going to the residences to pickup the cars by accessing the diagnostic port if a key isn't close by in the house transmitting.
