Another assault at 7-Eleven in White Flint

Damage to 7-Eleven front door
allegedly caused by assailant

Montgomery County police responded to a report of an assault at the 7-Eleven store at 11530-G Rockville Pike on Thursday, May 1, 2025. The alleged assailant entered the store shortly before 2:00 PM that afternoon, and was confronted by employees, who accused him of shoplifting. In response, he threw unspecified items at the employees, kicked and cracked a glass panel in the store's front door, and fled. An officer responding to the assault call forwarded a photo of the suspect to other officers in the White Flint area.

The suspect was seen walking near the 7-Eleven by police around 3:01 PM. Officers followed the suspect to the White Flint Metro station. When they informed the suspect he was under arrest, he attempted to run away. Following a brief foot chase, the suspect was arrested. Asked to identify himself, he allegedly provided a false name. A search of his person led officers to conclude he was in possession of clothing stolen from H&M and GAP at the nearby Pike & Rose development. Security at both stores confirmed that Shall had been in their stores earlier that day.

Ceolus Shall, 32, of no fixed address, was charged with theft of less than $100, malicious destruction of property, obstructing and hindering an investigation, and failure to truthfully identify. However, he was quickly released on a $100 unsecured personal bond. A woman was assaulted at the same 7-Eleven store 16 days earlier.

White Flint no longer exists.

How many robberies occur at Wawa? How many at RoFo? Both are far superior. I read an article yesterday that Wawa is doing a major expansion opening 100's of new stores and breaking into the Midwest. Inasmuch as I don't like giant buildings on every corner, ruining the small town Bethesda feel, the Bethesda 7-11, is absolutely crap. A new building eventually will be going up there.

MoCo is just encouraging more of the same with their lenience. But they already know that. Which is partly why I moved to FL.

"quickly released on a $100 unsecured personal bond"

And with democrats in charge there is no personal responsibility. The consequences of liberal governance is amazing especially since they consistently get reelected.

Do these losers have anything better to do? Of course not!!

$100 unsecured personal bond? It's toxic, radical empathy for the criminal and an absolutely sociopathic disregard and contempt for the victims.

A belated "Bye Felicia". Sorry you couldn't take your homies with you.

Spoken like a learned MAGA, lock everybody up regardless of the severity of the crime. Why not suggest sending their sorry asses to Cecot for your safety. Each crime has a level of intensity that determines how grave it is. Shoplifting is not high on the scale, since it does not involve violence or threats to the community.

Get a grip on your fear and chill.

7:36 has had their feelings hurt so deflect an assault into shoplifting. What I'll never understand about liberals is their abject love of people who make their lives difficult. From toothpaste locked behind plexiglass to the necessity for security cameras everywhere. Stockholm effect?

I feel sorry for your children if you've raised them that way. If not and you taught them the difference between right and wrong, take a look in the mirror at the face of hypocrisy. If you don't have kids, lucky them.

If the criminal has the $100 for bond, then WHY shoplift? For sport? Does "unsecured" mean no money for bond is actually required? Wtf??

Thank you, comment again.

@7:36 People like you are the reason why these dumb kids keep acting up.

Another big part of my move was getting away from people like you 732. I’ll never forget at the beginning of Biden’s term I saw a guy driving a car with a “Biden” bumper sticker. I asked the driver “Hey how about that job Biden’s doing on the border” “Yeah he’s doing a great job” the guy said. Sad and delusional. You never hear that in Florida.

7:36's opinion is why we 'can't have any thing nice' I've seen three times now (3!) Metrobus drives make people pay! Wow. I think they are realizing routes being cut and shortened (MC Rideon, too) are going to cost jobs. Too many not outlying is really hurting the bott line. What say you, 7:36, no biggie? I bet you're not a bus driver either.

Bad parenting...

Not paying above, not outlying. Fat thumbs, tiny keyboard, and Trump, of course.
