Westbard shooting suspect(s) enjoy fifth week of freedom

The suspect(s) in the March 29, 2025 shooting on Westbard Avenue in Bethesda remain at-large five weeks after the incident. Two people were wounded outside of the Bowlero bowling alley at 5353 Westbard Avenue at 12:13 AM that Saturday morning. Montgomery County police and Montgomery County elected officials remained completely silent on the shooting and the investigation for another week. The community is still awaiting answers to the many questions about this shocking incident, and for the identification and arrest of the person(s) responsible for the barrage of gunfire in a quiet residential neighborhood in the 20816 zip code.

Are you trying to give all the ostriches around here high blood pressure? They don't want to hear that their heros on the council have forgotten about the shooting and have more important fish to fry like perfecting EV mandates in lieu of the upcoming criminal express aka Purple Line.

Of course MCPD has caught someone, sometime in the recent past: the firing of a firearm at OGR and Wisconsin, now many months ago, I think a similar armed carjacking near the old Air Rights bldg., and a few other incidents.

But unfortunately without hearing of progress one has to assume they've gotten nowhere, this latest incident borders on unbelievable. No cameras along their route? Nothing on the shell casings? No pics to put out? Very sad.

The perps likely have a few new crimes under their belts, so this one is just 'old news,' let's move on!

Apparently, this is not considered a high profile case to dedicate any resources.

3:02, the two grazed by the shooters were PG County residents so we're going to let them handle the investigation. Not our problem.

12:13: Incorrect. Resident of Northern Virginia allegedly murdered by a "Maryland Man" in Prince George's County is being investigated by PGCPD. The suspect(s) spraying shots all over Westbard Avenue is most definitely our problem. There could have been multiple fatalities. MCPD, the County Council, and Moms Want Action have to weigh in on this bigly.

The MCPD is preoccupied with flying their toy drones. The County Council has not passed the paper bag test yet. The sliver of hope lies with Moms Want Action.
