Subway nears opening at Montgomery Mall in Bethesda (Photos)

Here's a sneak peek behind the curtain of the new Subway in the Dining Terrace food court at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. As you can see, it looks like it's not far from opening at this point. They've even plugged in the illuminated "S" logo. Still needed is the installation of the menu screens. Along with Subway's return on Rockville Pike, this area of Montgomery County is witnessing a true Renaissance of Sandwich Artists.

Very successful somehow but garbage and horrible for your health. Similarly, Domino's may be on a short list of the worst pizza in America. At least their food won't put you in an early grave. Wasn't there a report that Subway's food wasn't even actual food? Wake up and smell the MAHA movement. You're much better off getting a Cava bowl.

In related news, but not garbage, that Sisters place across from Our Lady of Lourdes on E-W Highway, won't make it. Too bad because their concept is good but that location is extremely tough. And not run by the founders made even together. There's something about that that's hard to explain. New owners take over and it's just not the same. The place next door though, that Robert has posted about, think Tate, is gonna crush it. Bigger space, corner and better access to parking.

Will they roll out the red yoga mat carpet for the grand opening?
