Montgomery Parks has announced that it will close Little Falls Parkway between Arlington Road and Massachusetts Avenue between 9:00 AM Fridays and 6:00 PM Sundays indefinitely. Montgomery County Planning Board Chair Casey Anderson made the announcement, He did not indicate how emergency vehicles that regularly use Little Falls Parkway to respond to fires, medical emergencies, and crimes would avoid delays due to the closure.
Beach Drive will also close on the same schedule between Knowles and Connecticut Avenues. Anderson said both closures, like similar closures of Sligo Creek Parkway in recent weeks, are designed to "make space for peds and bikes!"

Anderson should immediately be demoted to part-time dog catcher.
I don’t understand why this would be done, it makes no sense. It is not within a bigger park or anything like that. Smh
