Jim Coleman adds Nissan in Bethesda (Photos)

Two Nissan dealerships have closed in Bethesda over the last several years, opening up an opportunity for Jim Coleman. Nissan now joins Toyota, Infiniti and Cadillac at the longtime Bethesda business at 10400 Auto Park Avenue, near Home Depot and Montgomery Mall.

While the 370Z coupe and GT-R supercar need no introduction, Nissan has really improved its lower-end models recently. I've had a chance to test the Versa and Sentra as rentals in recent years, and the European-style handling makes them a lot of fun to drive in congested urban areas and tight parking lots. Nissan is also one of the few auto brands still producing vans that actually look like vans, compared to the tall and narrow shapes that dominate today. And the Leaf is one of the best electric cars that doesn't wear a Tesla badge.
