Shake Shack opened yesterday at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. The burger chain continues to favor the I-270 corridor over downtown Bethesda or Rockville Town Center. A third Shake Shack is planned for the Kentlands in 2022; an existing location is open now at Cabin John Village in Potomac. Look for Shake Shack in the Dining Terrace food court near Cinnabon.

What word on the old Arby's location on the Pike and Old George? I know you reported Shake Shack declined to open there, but is there any news on what may take over the space? It's looking rather forlorn as it sits, vacant.

I had my double shack burger there yesterday. They messed up my order but gave me a handwritten coupon for next time. Chalk it up to new staff. That place will do well that's for sure. Let's hope Regal comes to the former Arclight.
I would like to know that too.
