Lincoln gives a whiff of "Digital Scents" at Bethesda Row

Luxury automaker Lincoln is displaying its Nautilus SUV on Bethesda Lane at Bethesda Row. Yesterday, Lincoln representatives were promoting the new line of Lincoln Digital Scents, which come included with select 2024 Nautilus models, or can be purchased separately. At Bethesda Row, the scents were displayed in bottles that resemble those in which perfume or cologne would be sold. But the versions for your car come in a cartridge form, and are loaded into the center armrest console. Up to three scents can be installed at once.

You can control the intensity and frequency of scent diffusion using the Digital Scent screen, and set the aromas to function automatically when you start the vehicle. The screen will also indicate how much product is left inside each Digital Scent bottle.

There are currently seven Digital Scents available: Mystic Forest, Ozonic Azure, Violet Cashmere, Cloud Balsam, Serene Seashore, Sunlight Retreat, and Twilight Embers. Ozonic Azure promises to "create the aromatic equivalent of watching the Northern Lights. The pine needles of Cloud Balsam's "evergreen forest" might be the perfect choice for the Christmas season.

There is a Koons Lincoln dealership a few blocks away on Wisconsin Avenue. But the Lincoln representatives at the Bethesda Row display said they were not affiliated with the local dealership. The Lincoln display at Bethesda Row also gives you a chance to win a trip for two to the luxury Faena Miami Beach Hotel, which was named the top hotel in America by readers of Conde Nast Traveler in 2017.
