Victor Gallery has closed at 7034 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda. The fine rug showroom opened here in 2023. As you can see, the interior has been totally cleared out. Founded by Victor Mashihi, Victor Gallery is a family rug enterprise that began in Egypt in 1916. Here, it may have been the latest victim of the moribund Montgomery County economy, and the County Council's anti-business policies.

Robert- Love your blog but for the Love of God lets make sure we give the lionsshare of the Economic failures of MOCO to with out a doubt the worst County Executive in MOCO history. Other than showing up on Zoom with a five o'clock shadow and a K-mart suit what has this clown done other than raise taxes and fees ??
Um, no. It’s due to increasing restrictions on selling rugs from Iran.
