Follain reopening today at Bethesda Row

Non-toxic personal care boutique Follain will reopen today at 4810 Bethesda Avenue. They'll have some new policies in place to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. First, do not enter the store unless you see the green signal displayed. Keep six feet away from staff and other customers, and do not enter if you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms.
Similar to the change in beverage cup refills at Starbucks, Follain is asking that customers returning for soap refills now only bring a clean, dry bottle into the store. 30-minute one-on-one appointments can be scheduled. Call 1-240-534-2360 to schedule. For those uncomfortable shopping inside the store right now, Follain offers virtual consult services via video chat, and curbside pickup.

Indochino, Follain to open at Bethesda Row

Two new tenants have signed on at Bethesda Row. For men, Indochino will offer custom menswear, including shirts, suits and wedding collections. Having established a strong online presence, Indochino already has Bonobos-style bricks and mortar locations in Tysons, Toronto, Vancouver, New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Beverly Hills and Boston.

For women, Follain - according to Forbes magazine - will aim to be "the Sephora of green beauty." The beauty and skin care chain was launched by blogger Tara Foley, who sought to market non-toxic make-up and skincare products to health-conscious women. The latter are in no short supply in Bethesda, which should bode well for Follain, which will still have to compete with bluemercury in the same Federal Realty development.
