The Halal Guys opening Sunday in Bethesda

The Halal Guys  have finally announced their long-anticipated Grand Opening date in Bethesda. They will open tomorrow, Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM. The Halal Guys is located at 4915 Elm Street.

In another indication that the grand opening of The Halal Guys is imminent, a soft opening event was being held at the restaurant last night. While the owners are still being coy about the opening date, my advice would be to call at lunchtime [(301) 347-7992] each day starting today to check, or walk by if you are in the area anyway. This is the first Halal Guys in Bethesda, and is located at 4915 Elm Street, across from Bethesda Row.

The Halal Guys looks all set to open at 4915 Elm Street in downtown Bethesda. No official opening date has been announced as of this writing, however. Their Rockville location has been open since February.

It was last October when I first broke the news that The Halal Guys was opening a Bethesda location. Work is now finally progressing on the interior of the space at 4915 Elm Street, next to My Eye Dr. We're that much closer to the arrival of the famous White Sauce in downtown Bethesda. It only took 28 years, folks.

The Halal Guys are coming to downtown Bethesda. Known for gyros and chicken, and their famous white sauce, Halal Guys will be opening at 4915 Elm Street. There is currently no such street address, because 4917 Elm is being divided into two spaces, having last been home to Bethesda Barbecue Company. Halal Guys will open in early 2018, and work appears to already be underway.
