Boba Station, Shafa Blends close at Westfield Montgomery Mall (Photos)

Two more departures at Westfield Montgomery Mall. Boba Station was silent and dark Thursday. Family-owned tea shop Shafa Blends was not only dark and closed, but the sign had been ripped off the front of their space.

Boba Station is/was pretty popular.

Last Yelp review for Boba Station was in 2016. Looks like they closed some time ago.

I'm pretty sure that they didn't "rip down" the sign on Shafa Blends, as that would have damaged the molding, making it harder to attract a new tenant. But that indicates that the place didn't just close yesterday.

6:45 AM boba station has been operating within the past week. Pretty busy place. Hopefully they reopen.

6:45: As usual, you were totally wrong on both criticisms. This is breaking news, and you just got bodyslammed as hard as Fairfax and Frederick County bodyslammed the County Council this week with the latest economic development debacle by MoCo.

"That's gotta hurt, Gene."

Seems like every morning I get up and Robert Dyer is reporting on another business closing!

Shafa Blends is relocating to somewhere closer to Rockville Pike.
