Bethesda construction update: Cheval Bethesda ultra-luxury condos (Photos)

Things are just getting started at the construction site of the future Cheval Bethesda ultra-luxury condos. The site has been cleared of demolition debris from the structures recently taken down there. You can see that quite a bit of grading work has been done.

Duball, LLC is the developer of the building, which is expected to deliver in 2017. The 17-story tower will house 72 condo units, and 7000 SF of non-residential space. Prices will be ultra-luxury tier indeed: From the $900,000s to over $2.5 million.

What a stupid name for a building.

It's French, @ 7:30 - it means "horse". Please don't upset Poppy.

Note that Dyer's photorrhea ends fittingly with a shot of the rear of this horse.

7:48: Chump, your palpable stupidity demonstrates why you are not the publication of record on real estate in downtown Bethesda and I am.

Dyer reminds me of a cranky substitute teacher I had when I was in middle school. LOL

Hahahahaha. So full of it. Chump indeed.

7:48 AM is new to the internet. This is his first experience with a slideshow and his mind was blown.

Someone explain photo galleries to 7:30 please.

Correction: Someone explain photo galleries to the 7:48 troll please.
I'll leave 7:30 out of this :)

So many high-end condos being built -- yet so few with the money and/or the desire to live in Bethesda! The few good restaurants and stores don't warrant spending $900K ++ in this otherwise sleepy, little town.

12:25 PM Who is moving into all of the new apartments then?

I definitely wonder about the occupancy rates for all of these places. The Darcy, Bainbridge, etc.

I think this is an important step for Bethesda to take. We have a lot of luxury condos but we suffer from a server lack of the ultra luxury class of living.

Poppy, glad to hear you participated in bike to work day, great choices on the bikes!

11:11 It's obvious his mind was blown long ago, don't you think?

90s. Doing well.

I think they both filled up. The demand is definitely there, despite the crazy high prices.
