Truck traffic at Marriott construction site to increase in coming weeks

Marriott International headquarters development partners The Bernstein Companies, Boston Properties and Hensel Phelps say they expect truck traffic in and out of the construction site at 7750 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda. A phasing plan has been prepared to ease the impact of the additional trucks on traffic.

The partners acknowledge that too many meters around the site have been improperly bagged, taking them out of commission and hurting nearby businesses. They say they are working with Bethesda Urban Partnership and Montgomery County parking enforcement to reduce the number of bagged meters where possible.

Marriott continues to be blamed by some for utility problems in the vicinity of the construction. The partners say all of those disruptions and glitches are the fault of utility companies working on their own projects in the area, and that none were related to the Marriott site work underway. You can now watch the site 24 hours a day, and in time lapse, on a webcam set up by the Marriott HQ team.

6:59 AM Get your facts straight, troll. Dyer reported on closures on Rugby, per WSSC.
Part of the larger water main work being done.

I'm probably expecting too much for a troll to actually speak factually :)

"Another part of the WSSC project to replace the Battery Lane water main is scheduled to begin tomorrow night, Sunday, October 14, 2018."

The work on Battery Lane was completed many months ago, and the street was resurfaced. Battery Lane and Rugby Avenue are two separate streets that do not connect with each other.

11:48 am you quote a line from the first graf, ignoring that the rest explains where the work is being done.

1:43pm Have there been any council at large debates?

Why won't Hans debate?

How much coverage has the Post given to the Council race?

Why isn't MyMCMedia having a televised debate this cycle?

Or maybe Dyer's just a narcissistic lunatic with delusions of grandeur.

Weird to be so hostile to someone you've never met or had a conversation with.

Don't carry so much hate- it's not healthy at all.

Love the webcam Rob! Thanks for sharing

9:38: Hostility? Nah...no hate from me. You must be referring to Dyer threatening ME with coffee-table violence. ME, someone he's never met or had a conversation with.

As I've said before:
I don't dislike him, I just don't like him. Which is quite different.

Truth it's the new hate speech. "During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act." - George Orwell
