Pepco continues utility work on Little Falls Parkway

Pepco continues to work on its feeder line to the substation in Friendship Heights along Little Falls Parkway. Work on this end of the line was supposed to have been completed by Christmas, but is still underway two months past the deadline. Bad weather is the likely reason, although crews vanished for several weeks after my initial report on the project in late September, which clearly also added to the delay. Montgomery County officials were unaware that work had begun, including lane closures on the parkway, until I inquired about it.

upgrades for purple line extension.....

Good point! This must be the top secret extension of the Purple Line by the MoCo Cartel! I bet they are even putting the trains underground in the “ so-called utility” line space. Very stealthy. You will get to the Westbard Station of the Purple Line through a secret door near the produce section of the new Giant. Robert was right, again!

These outside contractors hired by MOCO have worked in this area for many, many, many years. They build curbs, tear them down, then rebuild them again often with 5 or 6 guys looking at 1 guy in a hole with a shovel. No oversight by MOCO. It's a joke!
