First look: Home Depot Design Center at Montrose Crossing in North Bethesda

The former Golf Galaxy space at the Montrose Crossing shopping center at 12087 Rockville Pike has been leased by a Home Depot Design Center. An opening date has been set for September 7, 2020. In contrast to a full-scale Home Depot big box store, this concept focuses on design and remodeling of kitchens and bathrooms. This will be only the second of this concept store in the country, following the first in San Diego. Here's a sneak peek:

Yeah, that's called Expo Design Center and Home Depot already tried it in Bethesda--it didn't do so well.

ooohh.... I am really digging that modern light fixture in the 4th photo. Would look good in my stairwell!

That part of Rockville Pike is considered North Bethesda? Rockville sure is shrinking!
Next prediction: Rockville HS will be renamed North Bethesda HS. Lol!

That precise part of Rockville Pike is not yet part of Rockville. To be fair, the city limits are only a block or two north of the Crossing. Rockville itself is a city with boundaries. Bethesda is... just a state of mind.
