Sign installed at Nothing Bundt Cakes in downtown Bethesda

The sign is up at Nothing Bundt Cakes at 8209 Wisconsin Avenue in downtown Bethesda. A national chain, Nothing Bundt Cakes offers 1950s Bundt cakes in 8" or 10", tiered Bundt cakes, Bundtlet miniature cakes, and bite-sized Bundtini cakes. Flavors include Classic Vanilla, Chocolate Chocolate Chip, Red Velvet, White Chocolate Raspberry, Confetti, Carrot Cake, Lemon, Marble, Pecan Praline and current special Blueberry Bliss.
Construction is underway inside but there's still a ways to go before it's finished. Nothing Bundt Cakes was previously scheduled to open in the spring, but that was before the pandemic interfered with just about all well-laid plans worldwide.

These people are just nuts to open this now. This may be really good but it's so niche. Imagine how many bundt cakes they'll need to sell every day, when no one is going to these places and office buildings are empty, just to cover rent.

If I recall they had already signed a lease before the start of the pandemic so they may have limited choice?

I refuse to go ANYWHERE until the pandemic is over. They don't need a storefront just the ability to hook into Uber Eats Door Dash ETC!!!

I say shut down all retail stores until a cure!!
