Menorah display stolen outside CVS Pharmacy at Cabin John Village

The Chanukah portion of the outdoor holiday decor at CVS Pharmacy at 7955 Tuckerman Lane at Cabin John Village in Potomac was stolen sometime between Saturday night, November 18, 2023 and Sunday morning, November 19. A reader forwarded these before-and-after photos, which show the inflatable menorah gone on Sunday. The Christmas-themed inflatables remained untouched. A torah scroll holder was recently ripped off of a resident's door in the Congressional Plaza area of Rockville. Like this area of Potomac on the border with Rockville, that is also a community with a large Jewish population.

Kids , they 'learn' this at our schools. Let that percolate.

"Percolate"?

That isn't even "Boomer".

That goes back to the "Greatest" generation, before drip coffee machines became ubiquitous by the 1970s.

"Percolate" brings back memories of awful coffee sitting in one of those stainless steel tanks for hours at a church social.

Maybe kids learn this behavior at school now too; I don't know. It's been quite a while since I've been in a school. I've always believed that kids learn to hate at home.

So I just read that the court struck down the "attempted" Maryland handgun law... Does this mean WE can start packin' right away like the criminals do, or is a license still going to be required most likely due to appeals??

For some ridiculous reason, Wildwood Shopping Center no longer displays either a Christmas tree nor a Menorah as part of their display as they've done for many years prior. Someone explain that please.
