Montgomery County police are looking for three suspects in a February 5, 2024 assault and shoplifting incident at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. The three entered Zara and grabbed merchandise, police say. On their way out of the fashion boutique at 12:22 PM, they allegedly assaulted a store employee. This is the second assault reported at the mall this year.
Police describe the suspects as a Black male around 40 years of age, a Black male aged 20-25, and a Black female aged 20-25. If you can identify any of the suspects, or have any information related to this incident, you are asked to call police at the anonymous Crime Solvers tipline at 1-866-411-8477, or the non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.

Rubber bullets at a minimum. With the way this county is run, they'll be back out on the street in no time.
We need to build more prisons so that we can lock these guys up for longer periods of time to improve quality of life for those capable of behaving.
We're going to need a few more shooting and robbery victims before we are allowed to protect ourselves by our keepers.

7:35 - Such an infantile comment. Nothing to see? Assaults, smash and grab, CVS stores hit across town on Tuesday in broad daylight? Sure, nothing to see there. MAGA? What does that even mean? So, Biden supporters are ok with this? This mostly happens in deep blue counties and states. Sadly, we're both here.
7:35 is why we are where we are. They have complete control in MD & DC but can't understand why people would complain about crime. Go see a therapist because the party out of power shouldn't have the influence it does to your mental state.

Restorative justice leaves the same moldy characters behind.
I'm probably a poster child for progressive liberalism but it's apparent we are going down the wrong path. I noticed a bit of that in a recent interview of County Executive Marc Elrich on our channel 7. We gotta address these problems and being soft ain't working.
@11:24 Good intentions are not the same as good policy. Elrich and the council chose to reduce police powers and presence along with selective/non prosecution of certain segments of society. Only now when their chickens have come home to roost are they concerned because it affects them politically. A truly sad testament liberal governance that's happening across the country.
11:24 - Very good observation. These people aren't dumb they're just incompetent. They also have gone so Far Left it's beyond description. The leaders, the police, the legal system are all about rehab, restorative Justice, etc versus safety, zero tolerance, locking people up, etc. Someone on here said this is all MAGA. A friend of mine was actually shopping in the CVS, that I also go to, as it was being robbed on Tuesday. No one did or said a thing and of course, the police, while great servants, weren't there in time. They hit 3 stores that day. This is insane. Stop voting Dem in this county.
We cannot even talk about it, much less fix it.
