Zuma by Chef Ninja in Bethesda receives court summons
An order to appear in court has been posted at the premises of Zuma by Chef Ninja at 4866 Cordell Avenue in Bethesda. Plaintiff Greendell, LLC of Rockville has filed a complaint for Wrongful Detainer for the property, and says it has incurred $21,015.68 in financial damages from Zuma's actions. The owners of Zuma are being summoned to court at 9:00 AM on April 3, 2024 to tell a judge why the property should not be restored to Greendell. According to the document, the reason it is now posted at the restaurant is that the summons was not able to be successfully served to the defendants in-person.

Terrible name. Never heard of it. Never heard anyone mention it. They'll be done. So many places in Bethesda are awful. Good, another one down and many more to go to
They were barely open. How does it go wrong so quickly?
@ JAC - How could you celebrate a restaurant closing that you didn't even know existed?
It goes wrong because people have zero idea how to run a restaurant. It has one of the lowest survival rates and profit margin for any business category.
5:17 - your comment makes no sense. Should we not be grateful that clearly awful restaurants Will soon be closed? So this restaurant is actually good and should stay open? Okay, but I don't think that's the case. They're way too many awful restaurants and many more need to close whether I've tried them or not that's true. Thankfully, places like salt line, have opened and is excellent. There are others that are coming thankfully.
I don't know anything about this particular establishment in Bethesda, but with regard to 5:21's general comment: in "The Sopranos," when Tony criticized Artie Bucco's operation, Artie sarcastically responded, "I guess because you know how to eat, you know how to run a restaurant."
(He might have been one of the few characters who got away with that kind of thing.)
I agree that Salt Line is very good, but spectacularly overpriced.
Cinco, this is Bethesda, we can afford it. That's the best addition to town in some time. It's excellent from decor to service to food.
