Wait, What! I have it on good authority and fabulous statistics from people tuned in to all the news that matters:
"all crime metrics are dramatically falling, except car burglaries"
So this didn't happen and therefore will not be counted in the crime stats.
@ 5:26 AM - A single data point does not magically cancel the trend that the OP noted.
Back when I had part time jobs over in Northern Virginia I used to come back on the METRO every night around 11PM and never had an issue.
So sad that apparently we can’t even leave the METRO and go to our parked cars without an issue. Unbelievable !
By the way, time for more cameras in that garage. More than just the one thats in the stairway. How about cameras on all the floors as well………
So our Police don't allow us to know what kind of weapon was used in the commission of this crime? Since we cannot exercise the right to armed self defense there's really no need to divulge what weapons to expect going forward. Why don't we just pin our keys and money to our vests?
Keep believing in the chicken little theory, you wear it well.
Unfortunately for 7:00, it isn't a single data point but a trend created by restorative justice but you don't know because its not approved news.
7:35 - MoCo is so screwed up that they would find a way to prosecute law-abiding citizens who choose to protect themselves with a Byrna non -lethal pistol which are 100% legal to carry and shoot for self-defense. Thanks for pointing out that we essentially have no 2A rights here. I've said that many times on this blog. Crooks carry whatever weapon they want and good guys can't. This makes a ton of sense. Not.
Which garage? The private garage under the metro building (entrance near the kiss and ride), or the county garage just across from the bus entrance?
Restorative Justice, if even effective, doesn't work if you can't catch them. Besides, it being a fools errand, we know nature always trumps nurture.
Our own county politicians
Are wannabe statisticians
They behave like magicians
And support the morticians.
'"Restorative Justice" = Reinforcement
Who says you're a good guy? You?!
