NEW BETHESDA TRIPPER BUS STOP PASSES HOLIDAY WEEKEND TEST (PHOTOS)

The Arlington-Bethesda-New York City Tripper Bus route moved its Bethesda bus stop to a new location Tuesday. It got its first real test Wednesday, as a major holiday weekend began.

Everything appeared to go smoothly. Bethesda travelers heading to the Big Apple for Independence Day lined up outside of Regal Cinema Bethesda 10. The Tripper Bus pulled up to the curb on Elm Street, luggage was loaded below, and passengers boarded.

The stop got a lot more attention being in a prominent spot, which will surely help awareness that this intercity bus service is available. Vamoose Bus also goes to NYC, and boards on Waverly Street in Bethesda.
