Shenk & Tittle, a sports apparel and accessory specialty shop at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, has closed.
The regional company says its lease ended, and it has decided to simply close its Bethesda store.
Snowboarding giant Burton is opening a store at the mall, but S&T carried much more than snowboard gear, ranging from surfing to pro football jerseys.
Shenk & Tittle has other area stores in Maryland, Virginia and Pennsylvania, including White Marsh Mall, fabulous Valley Mall in Hagerstown, and Francis Scott Key Mall in Frederick.
