CITY LIGHTS OF CHINA TO REOPEN IN BETHESDA (PHOTOS)

City Lights of China, a longtime Chinese restaurant in downtown Bethesda that lost its space on Bethesda Avenue earlier this year, is returning to town.

The restaurant will reopen on the same street, but a block west, at 4953 Bethesda Avenue. That space was home to Taipei 101 Tokyo Cafe until May of this year.

In an ironic twist, City Lights of China is currently planning to open its new location in December. That's when the Asian restaurant that took its place at Bethesda Row - popular fast-casual chain ShopHouse - is scheduled to open as well.
