FURLOUGHED BY UNCLE SAM? GET FREE FITNESS SESSIONS AT IRONS FITNESS IN BETHESDA

Many furloughed federal employees have told journalists they have been sitting around at home with nothing to do.

Why not head to Irons Fitness at 7700 Wisconsin Avenue, in the courtyard of Bethesda Place, in downtown Bethesda?

Irons Fitness is offering all furloughed federal, military and federal contractor employees free personal training sessions. Nick Irons was the first man to swim the 1550 mile Mississippi River in 70 years, and the first to do it in the river's modern configuration of locks and dams. So keeping you in shape during the government shutdown won't be too challenging for him.

"We want to help in the best way we know," Irons said Thursday, "by giving the gift of fitness."

Hurry in, as the government could reopen any day now, if the President and House Republicans reach an agreement in their current negotiations.

Call 301-530-9236 to schedule a session.
