DRUG ARREST AT WALT WHITMAN HS, EDGEMOOR THEFTS - BETHESDA CRIME UPDATE

A narcotics arrest took place at Walt Whitman High School on January 9, according to crime data. Two thefts were reported in the Edgemoor area the same day, as well as an additional drug bust in downtown Bethesda.

Theft. 7500 block Wisconsin Avenue (downtown Bethesda).

Theft. 4800 block Bethesda Avenue.

Theft. 9000 block Rockville Pike (NIH/Walter Reed area).

January 9

Drug arrest. Woodmont Avenue and Old Georgetown Road.

Theft. 6900 block Arlington Road.

Theft. 6800 block Fairfax Road (Edgemoor neighborhood).

Vehicle theft. Woodbine and Connecticut Avenue (Chevy Chase Section 5).

Theft. 4700 block Willard Avenue.

Drug arrest. Walt Whitman High School.

Vehicle burglary. Westmoreland Circle (Westmoreland Hills).

Assault. 5400 block Duvall Drive (Westmoreland Hills).

Vehicle theft. MacArthur Boulevard and Wilson Lane (Glen Echo).
