GALLERY BETHESDA LUXURY APARTMENT TOWER OPENS PEDESTRIAN PLAZA (PHOTOS)

The pedestrian plaza that will eventually define the area between the Gallery Bethesda apartment tower, and (not-yet-built) Rugby apartments, was open to the public last night. You can now get a close-up look at the light sculptures inspired by Bethesda history. What is finished, is the Gallery Bethesda itself, now leasing. Coming soon will be an Aria convenience store, and other retail tenants on the ground floor. The next phase of Donohoe's project will be The Rugby next door, although that name is just tentative right now.
Welcome to 4800 Auburn Avenue

These were inspired by the Twist and Shout, but
do you know the song that was inspired by it?

We're finally getting mid-block connections in the Woodmont Triangle.

With this plaza, it will be much easier to walk between Auburn and Del Ray.

Same thing once the Bainbridge opens on Fairmont and St. Elmo.
