This Dunkin' Donuts will also include a Baskin Robbins ice cream store. Should a patio be added, it would help Baskin Robbins compete with other dessert shops like Haagen-Dazs and Dolcezza, which have pedestrian areas outside their doors, beyond the minimal sidewalk space many businesses are limited to. There is utility equipment installed in the area outside, so it is currently unclear what the final design of this outdoor space will be.

NEW CORDELL AVE. DUNKIN' DONUTS ADDING OUTDOOR PATIO? (PHOTOS)
The second Dunkin' Donuts to open this year in downtown Bethesda, in the Norfolk-Cordell II building on Cordell Avenue, appears to be adding an outdoor patio of some kind. A space between the public sidewalk and the storefront is being defined by installation of new exterior design elements. Signage could also potentially be installed on this outer property line, above the entryway.

I hope Dunkin Donuts is gonna give you a free mixed dozen for all this free publicity you're giving them.
The grand opening will be a big deal. It will bring back ice cream to the Woodmont Triangle. We haven't had an ice cream place since Ben & Jerrys closed.
