New lights on Bethesda Avenue
You may have seen the scaffolding above Williams-Sonoma at Bethesda Row in recent weeks. The result of the work is improved exterior lighting on the second floor above Bethesda Avenue.

The lights are a nice addition. That stretch of Bethesda Avenue sidewalk needed illumination for a better pedestrian experience. Now we have it.
Looks a bit excessive and contributes to light pollution. https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/health-science/some-cities-are-taking-another-look-at-led-lighting-after-ama-warning/2016/09/21/98779568-7c3d-11e6-bd86-b7bbd53d2b5d_story.html?utm_term=.e18614863fd1

It's certainly more subtle lighting than those huge LED boards at Ellsworth Place in Silver Spring.
That's not an actual "second floor", Birdbrain.
