Developer Carr Properties has filed a Site Plan Minor Amendment for its massive 7272 Wisconsin Avenue mixed-use project in downtown Bethesda. They are requesting "minor landscape and hardscape modifications, addition of a perimeter screen for the roof antennas, addition of plaza signage, and minor redesign of a portion of the office podium."
The antenna, signage and office podium changes might relate to one of the building's confirmed future tenants, Fox 5 television. Public comment is allowed on the proposed amendment, and should be mailed to DARC, M-NCPPC, 8787 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910-3760. Comments must be received within 15 days of November 9, 2017.
Under the current rules, no public hearing will be held on the amendment unless the Planning Director determines that at least one of the submitted comments is "substantive enough to warrant a public hearing." Planning Director Gwen Wright will also be the official who decides whether to grant the amendment request or not. No public notice of the action will be given, according to a letter from Lerch Early & Brewer, the Bethesda law firm representing Carr on this matter.

Breaking news... when you want to be the first to know.
But odd that this story is published at 8:00 AM EST on a Sunday.
Is there a link where we can download and view the proposed revisions? How can we be expected to review and comment on any changes, if they are not available to view? We are required to submit our comments in writing only based on a verbal description of the changes? We can’t tell how large or small these changes might be based on the description. For example, an antenna screen coulld be 10’ high or 50’ high...
