Bond Vet to open clinic at Bethesda Row

Bond Vet,
a "new kind of vet clinic and animal hospital" with 11 locations in New York City, is expanding south to the Washington, D.C. area. One of the first locations will be at Bethesda Row, where "coming soon" signage was installed yesterday. This is in the retail strip located between Uncle Julio's and the Audi Bethesda dealership on Arlington Road.

A calmer and warmer experience for pets and their owners is promised by the growing chain, as well as the latest tech tools and an operation built around teamwork. Telehealth and surgical services are available. They are currently hiring for all positions at the Bethesda Row location, which is expected to open this spring.

Isn't this section of the block planned for razing/redevelopment of a new mixed residential/retail building? I'm surprised a new business is moving in there now. Uncle Julio's is on the list to get leveled if I recall correctly.

Nice addition, but as 10:00 AM said, I thought this block was getting leveled for a new development.
