The Shops at Sumner Place has been busy filling vacant storefronts in recent weeks, reaching lease agreements with ATI Physical Therapy and Westwood Pet Center. Their latest signing will bring a bit of star power directly from Hollywood to the former Little Falls Mall in Bethesda. F45 Training will open a gym in the retail center at 4611-K Sangamore Road. The Australia-based fitness chain has the financial backing and endorsement of actor and entrepreneur Mark Wahlberg.
F45 will take over the space recently vacated by another gym, Sumner Fitness. A previous F45 location at 4800 Auburn Avenue closed last summer, and the franchisee had expressed hope that it would reopen in a different spot. It looks like they've found it at Sumner Place. F45 recently opened a new gym in downtown Silver Spring, as well.

With those closures, why in the world would they have any hope that a new location will be successful for them here? Clearly, people are not interested in what they're selling.
i am excited they are opening a gym at that location! i plan to visit frequently!
does anybody know roughly when the F45 gym is set to open at Sumner Place? I hope it will be soon!
2:37: I haven't seen much indication of movement there as of a few days ago. No signage installed yet. But it shouldn't take that long once they've gotten started, as the space was a gym before, and the F45 studios aren't overly elaborate in interior design.
Does anyone know who the owners of this new F45 are? It is not the owners of the previous F45 on Auburn. I've been trying to get in touch with whomever is opening this new space. Its an amazing gym, BTW

This is NOT the same owner of the now defunct Auburn Ave. location (Zach Wall). I'd love to find out more about how to get a membership to this location.
Is this going to happen? I have been seeing a 'coming soon' sign there for months and months!
