One of the most frequent restaurant questions I've received from readers over the last year is, "When will PLANTA open?" The long-awaited answer is finally here: PLANTA will open next Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 4910 Elm Street at Bethesda Row. PLANTA features a 100% plant-based menu, and is attempting to set a new standard for environmental sensitivity with paperless and reduced-waste operations of their restaurants.

Udon Noodles: $25.50
A cocktail will run you $13.50.
Then add on Tax for the Corrupt MoCo Cartel and Tip...
Absolute insanity.

@7:26 AM: You want to go there and spend nearly $40 for Udon Noodles and a Cocktail before tax/tip, you go right ahead and do that. There's no bitterness here. Just pity. I hope you go as often as you can.
